I have always liked drawing and I really cannot remember when it got started….After my high school graduation in Arts and Architecture I studied Stage Design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome in Italy, the country where I come from. My inner passion has always been the enchanted world of children’s literature, crafts and kids decoration. In 2005 I started focusing on illustration, trying to find my own way to express words in pictures. In 2007 I published my very first book called ”Kyoko e la nascita del Giappone” (Sinnos Editrice, Rome) which made me feel so proud and sure it was the work I always wanted to do. I have also cooperated with several designers and planned differents exhibitions first in Italy, then in Sweden, Spain and Ukraine. ? On my way I have also been living in Japan, whose aesthetic influenced me a lot and can be seen in my style forms and composition. ?I often try to see beauty everywhere and through my artworks I’d love to open your eyes for life’s innocence and sensitivity. ?I feel that catching animals and sweet earth spirits on the move, mixing naive pictures with clear reality is my greatest inspiration. ?I always take care to find the right sense of color, shape and everyday humor and creativity.? I believe in life magic and hope to give you new tools to do the same…!? Exhibition dates: 10 – 24/1 2013.
